Tues, 9/23/08 - Intense Cardio

I taught a great spin class tonight. I also had a chance to ride (last week we were full, and I had to give up the instructor bike). I pushed myself so hard during a sprint sequence, and I got off the bike to check on a student, that I had a really hard time getting my heart rate down. I definitely hit anaerobic today, and that doesn't happen very often!

I'm going to start teaching spin 2x/week permanently now, and I'm amped about that! In addition, we're still doing bootcamps and 1x1 training, so my schedule is becoming full. I love helping people reach their goals.

Probably an off day

I'll be going to a wake tonight, out of town, so I doubt that I'll be able to squeeze my workout in. Depending on how late we get back, I might try to squeeze in a short cardio session at the very least.

8:40-9:00AM - Elliptical (20 mins)
6:30-7:15PM - Spinning - Strength (taught a great class...was working very hard during the ride)
8:30-8:55PM - Did walking lunges (15#) & abs from Cathe Butts & Guts DVD

Awesome chest/back workout

Today's workout was incredibly effective & efficient; trained this morning since today was a holiday. We did circuits composed of different machines/bars/grips than we usually use. It was a good shock to my system, and my body responded well. I still have get my cardio in, but I'm feeling really lazy - LOL.
